Thomas Pihl, SUS hårdskjutande mittfältare som pga späckade helgscheman ännu inte lirat någon match i år, var i Malmö i helgen. Han lade märke till bifogad papperslapp på en grind. I ett mejl till STJD-redaktionen undrar nu Pihl vad SUS har för kontakter med Santxez, och vad den sistnämnde har för cykelaffärer? STJD vet ej svaren men kanske någon av bloggläsarna vet?

SUS TILLS JAG DÖR = SUS UNTIL I DIE

SUS TILLS JAG DÖR has in short time become an international phenomenon on the internet. The Eyes of the world are directed towards the swedish footballblog with more than 300 unique visitors every day! But until now the blog has been entirely in swedish. This is a short description of what's going on at one of the most creative sites on the web.

SUS IF stands for Stockholms Universitets Studenters Idrotts Förening which means The Students of Stockholm University's Athletic's Club. The Club started 1967 by a couple of students. Over the years the connection with the University has faded off and today there is no connection left. Soccer has been the main sport in SUS IF. The Team has over the years always played in the lower series. This is because the players usually have so much else to do, like deciding who should get the Nobel Prize. The Story goes that the team stopped training around 1984. Over the years many famous swedes have played with the team: Annika Sörenstam's father, Rolf Porseryd, Claes Borgström, Jonas Dahlquist and Kristian Russell just to name a few. In january 2007 the blog SUS TILLS JAG DÖR saw daylight for the first time. The Initiative came from Johan Seidefors, the captain of the team who's father is one of the big names in the club history. The name means SUS until I die and is somewhat a motto in the club. Over the months that followed it's premiere SUS TILLS JAG DÖR established itself to be the center of attention for most people in and around the team. The Site is in swedish but has nevertheless drawn attention from people all over the world from Bogota to Singapore. The Main goal during season is of course to report from the games, but there are much more going on also. More than 2800 articles have been published so far and has covered such diverse subjects as SUS's recipe for lobstersoap, SUS's favourite music and even haiku's about SUS. SUS IF played in division 7F and finished at number 3rd the season 2012 and will continue to play in division 7F the season 2014. Homearena is Stadshagen in central Stockholm. Beginning early november 2012 a weekly podcast show called SUSPOD was posted at SUS TILLS JAG DÖR. The show was mostly in swedish and covered everything relevant about the team, the seventh division and society overall. However, SUSPOD is as nowadays on hiatus.

So please international friends, keep on following SUS TILLS JAG DÖR! The Site will probably continue to be in swedish but articles in english will be posted under the name SUS UNTIL I DIE.
